A short story about us
Hello there! I’m Nurse Perla, and I’ve always believed that every child deserves a safe, loving, and understanding place. When I started working with individuals with cognitive disabilities, I realized how overwhelming the environment could be for them - bright lights and loud noises. This inspired Cocos Sensory Soft Play. Our goal is to create a secure environment where children can engage in stimulating play and socialize with their peers. I’d love for you to join me on this important mission of raising awareness about individuals with cognitive disabilities and building a safe haven for them to play and socialize.

Coco the Dog
Hello there! I’m Coco, a golden retriever in training to become a service dog. I have a big heart and an even bigger job. I help kids with developmental differences feel safe, loved, and understood.
At Cocos Sensory Soft Play, I greet each child with a wagging tail and gentle eyes. Some kids feel nervous in new places, but I’m here to comfort them. We sit together where they can pet my soft fur. When a child struggles to express their feelings, I listen without judgment. And when someone feels overwhelmed, I remind them they’re never alone.
I may not speak with words, but my love says it all: You are safe. You are special. You are not alone.
Training to be a therapy dog isn’t just my job—it’s my purpose.
